Work Experience
Senior engineer on a Sui-based decentralized compute platform, responsible for the Rust leader binary that orchestrates workflow execution and the Move packages it settles against. Delivered crucial features including multi-leader distribution, derived registries, address-balance payment settlement, and on-chain leader instance versioning, while owning the release cadence from v0.1 through v2.0. Worked on both the off-chain Rust and the on-chain Move codebases with strong emphasis on reliability, observability (Prometheus metrics), and end-to-end verification.
After relocating back to the Czech Republic I joined Enhance as a remote engineer. I maintained and extended a large React application, shipping many customer-facing features while collaborating closely with the Rust API backend team. The product landed its first paying customers during my time there.
Joined GSG following Pouch's acquisition. Built and shipped a white-label browser-extension product, and contributed to backend microservices in Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js.
Joined Pouch before my summer break to gain some more experience and continued to work there even throughout the academic year. I mostly took care of their backend services and the AWS architecture, getting familiar with cloud computing. Pouch then got acquired by Global Savings Group in December 2018.

Web Developer
Ostrava, CZ
July 2016—March 2017
Applied for a junior role but was soon promoted to a full-stack developer. My main responsibility was maintaining clients' websites that were mostly built using WordPress. I was, however, also contributing to several Laravel projects.
This was my first serious employment in the tech field. I was assigned to maintain a big e-commerce backend built on the Zend Framework. I got closely familiar with object-oriented programming not only in PHP but in general.
